Red Lady

Today I am going to show few step which I did to get this: 

Basically I have started from a piece of paper and  a pencil .... but will skip this step :)
When you have a base is good to scan your idea into any software like Photoshop but this time to do sketch I have used Illustrator CS6 the result was :

Next step was to go to Photoshop and input some base colours:

On separate Layers I mark by magic wand tool parts of her body and I use light colors to do shadow effects. To make a background I used some random brushes and I applied effects though Layers Styles. This is my style of digital art and of course I use my old tablet Wacom intuos 5 M.

Updates

After a long break from blogging I need to do some resume of this what I did in the last couple of moths...

1. First of all I have coded a brand new website that is my private website link: Personal website
is responsive and took my to code it ....loads of hours... 

2. I have finished digital painting of girl who is the best work of mine so far...

3. I am doing a course of Web Development that's the reason why I am really busy at the moment but  will be probably more blogging.

4. I am going to add a post strict relevant to the artwork that I did :) I might do a step-by-step post with some explanations about my drawing in PS CS6 as I did not record my drawing.

Random sketch

Yesterday I did a crazy lady I need to make her version in digital, as well my last lady is so time-consuming and takes me ages as I find constantly sth to improve... ;)

Anyway this is just a sketch, took me maybe 10 min or so..

I have done her face today. She is not finished I work to make here better I try many different techniques but still need to practice more. I am happy with  her face right now but I am sure that will need to do more to finish it perfect. I really enjoy experimenting with digital painting. Hope to be as good as Stanley Lau... He has skills which you can get after many many years of practice. But practicing always makes us better and better  thanks of that we can improve all the time.

What a beautiful Sunday afternoon... :) Can't believe that we have still winter ;)
Lets go back to work...

I did a vector line sketch for further work in Photoshop but it was pretty hard work I needed to be very focused on smooth details now I have a  good  vector sketch to do some more fantastic effects and start playing with colors in PS :)

I really enjoy this project I hope that my new Lady will look extraordinary cool :)

Definitely I may need more time to do her perfectly well... It isn't easy work but I am still on the way to get perfection at least in Digital and Vector ART :D
